Westin Grand Central NYC
Thinking of staying here for 2 nights in Oct - 2a 2c (11 & 14) - anyone else stayed? I've obviously looked at trip advisor - looks ok? I was wondering about where to eat breakfast though? I'm trying to keep costs as low as possible whilst still nice
Can anyone else recommend a hotel with 2 doubles for £200per night or less? Would be nice to have breakfast included.. |

GC area is nice - there is a great diner called Scotty's just up Lex Ave.
We have just been and we stayed at Home2Suites on Long Island City. 50m frpm the subway and 2 stops from Manhattan (Lex/59th). We paid $200 for a three bed room (it was big) with a good breakfast included. This was a xmas so an expensive time of year! The room also had a fridge and kitchenette. Staying here isn't for everyone - you have to get the subway and there isn't anything much around but getting to where we needed was easy!

Have a look at the Red Flame Diner, just a short walk from Grand Central, great for breakfast.

The Pershing Square Cafe right outside Grand Central is a nice spot for breakfast. Not cheap but not mega-expensive either.
