We stayed at the Wyndham around 20- The Trip advisor reports nearly made me cancel.

But we had a nice time and the outside pool was heated in Feb - very hot.

Location was also good.

Couldn't see Homewood on Hotels.com (which was on TopCashback at a nifty 11%), Sonesta didn't have the layout we wanted (2 queens... Though as the gets older, 2 bedroom suites will be the order of the day for future trips methinks).

In the end, plumped for Autograph's Castle hotel - by no means the cheapest, but a solid 9/10 on their ratings (and hey, Rosen Inn at Pointe is looking stupidly expensive at the mo)... Also, 11% cashback not to be sniffed at.
Rosen inn international is dirt cheap on travel republic ...

Bonus about the Castle Hotel, just realised Autograph is part of Marriott Bonvoy, so that'll tag on to my points 🙂

I would recommend Homewood Suites @Convention Centre. Great rooms, free breakfast and food a couple of evenings a week too !

I stayed at the Homewood Suite but didn't like the pool area. It was in the shade and I found the sunlounger area very narrow around the pool.

Would go for the Rosen Plaza instead. it had a great pool area. We booked it via Travelbag at a great price with breakfast included

Thanks, I might give this place a try next year (hopefully), it looks to be in a great location opposite Icon Park.
Normally stay at Homewood Suites but always long for a pool that's not in the shade and was a little disappointed last year.
