I honestly have no idea, we always go to my sisters for Xmas but there is 6 just in my family alone so food wise it may just be a buffet affair at home.

do justice to our dinner otherwise.
Mozzarella and Tomato
Nachos
Salad
Some shop bought snacks I can put
in the oven.

Main
Roast Chicken - no one likes turkey
Honey and Mustard Ham
Broccoli and Cauliflower in cheese
sauce
Roast or Hasselback Potatoes
Pigs in Blankets
Pigs without blankets
Stuffing
Green beans, Broccoli, Peas steamed
Honey Glazed Carrots
Yorkshire Puddings - children insist

fussy nine year old

Whichever shop bought dessert takes

Usually the same every year.

Starter - prawn cocktail and smoked salmon with a little bit of salad.
Melon and apple for my DH and DS, because they wont eat fish.

Main - Turkey crown, pigs in blankets, roast and mash potatoes, carrots, parsnips, peas, sprouts, cauliflower cheese, stuffing and gravy.

Dessert - I always make a trifle and buy individual Christmas puddings, but we rarely eat any dessert at all because everyone is too full.

Why not offer to cook it for her , it’s a weird year anyway so a good time to change things up. She might appreciate a relaxing Christmas Day and you might enjoy the meal more (of course you could find yourself permanently volunteered for the job )

Bless my mum, she is not a very good cook. Roasties are pale, turkey is dry, veg is cold and gravy is like brown water. But it would not be Christmas otherwise 🤣

Starter:
Prawn cocktail

Main:
Turkey & lamb
Roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, sprouts, stuffing, roasted parsnips and gravy.

Desert:
Nothing 😳
She does have mince pies in but thats it. Kids have some chocolate from their Christmas presents. I think I will make or but a desert this year though.

Xmas 2018 Chinese in Florida and DD had microwave lasagne (her choice)

Xmas 2019 Fried Breakfast with my mum in the morning then we all just snacked in the afternoon on gammon and other bits we fancied.

Think 2020 will be similar to last year as it's easier and we all enjoyed just eating what we wanted. Will probably see my mum and DH's parents at some point but will just be the 3 of us for food on the day.
