I'm all done apart from fresh veg and other fresh bits. Just been adding bits each week to shopping, freezer full of joints of meat, pigs in blankets, stuffing etc

I buy lots of baking ingredients so I’m good to go if I see a festive recipe I like the look of! Lots of dried fruits and nuts, crystallised ginger, flour, extra butter, brown sugar, marzipan, icing sugar, spices such as cinnamon etc. I make lots of desserts around Christmas and my own cake and mincemeat too.

I have just ordered a frozen turkey crown and a jar of cranberry sauce which is being delivered tomorrow with my normal shop. I've already made parsnip gratin which i've frozen. I'll just need to defrost it and make a panko and gruyere topping & pop in the oven.
We'll be making a list at the weekend for the rest of the festive stuff. As there may only be 4 of us together on Christmas day (depending on covid restrictions) I don't think we'll be going too mad shopping wise.

I have a list on my phone saved on my notes with everything I need to buy food wise for Xmas. I’ve already bought all the alcohol, soft drinks, chocolates, nuts, crisps and crackers. I’ve frozen lemon and lime slices when I got some nets of fruit for 10p last week. Food wise I’m always organised very early for Xmas-present wise I rarely know what to buy and is usually done in December
