As the title says, a blast from the past - The Crown Currency issue - has anyone had an email lately from HMCTS? This is related to the sale of property and more funds being released to claimants.

I got lucky had money with them they didn�t send me my dollars so I got a refund this was 3 weeks before they went under.

I�d been using them for years as well I do feel for all those that lost money with them

OP. I have had nothing since 2018 and that was a query I had about Susan Benstead.

Tom, I have had several emails from the LCCC now, I have asked every conceivable question, but I will assume that as it's the sale of a property it won't be a lot of money, and last time (2018) they took half of what was awarded anyway!

Wow that has taken a long time - I remember Dibbers talking about this when I first joined the Dibb in 2010

Well in 2018 I was awarded �48 out of the �900 I lost, then they took half of that in legal fees, so I doubt I will give them my bank details this time round

It was devastating at the time, as I was due to go on holiday a week after my money was due, thankfully my boss gave me a lovely bonus and I also go a tax rebate that covered my loses, but oh my gosh those poor people that lost property and homes because of it, it was heartbreaking.
