My uncle used to get me a £5 book token every year and I would always buy Enid Blyton books. I never managed to buy them all though.

One year I got a load of board games- operation, guess who, kerplunk. Not so much fun if you've got nobody to play them with, though.

I loved all the Enid Blyton books.

I had a lot of Sindy stuff - my favourite was her motorhome.

A new nightie
A selection box
A new teddy or clothes for my doll
Beano annual
Colouring book
Crayons or pens
Then a joint ‘main’ present for my sister and I. We shared a bedroom and only 18 months apart in age. So a cassette player or record player.
We didn’t get a main present every year though as we were poor.
I always remember one year we both got the ballerina Sindy doll 💗💗💗💗💗 my favourite present ever!

I always remember the satsuma and sugar mouse at the bottom of our stockings, a new outfit, pj's and a selection box. Apart from that remember getting SIndy and Pippa dolls, Sweet April and swing, twin little dolls Carrie and Christopher and a doll that did somersaults. My Nana always used to give us board games or books.

A post office set, a smokers set, a massive pencil (which I hated), plasticine, fruit jellies.
