Air Canada

Hi

Does anyone have any experience of flying with Air Canada and clearing immigration in Canada?

We are flying with them next August, from London Heathrow, stopping at Montreal on the way out and Toronto on the way back.

I understand that the flight from Canada to Orlando will be on a no frills type plane (Rouge) and this is absolutely fine, only a couple of hours and we will download the app to our devices.

I'm also aware that we will need an ETA to pass though Canada.

Your general experience of the airline and going through Canada and any other info you have would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've been very pleased with Air Canada, used them 3 times. Cabin crew bring drinks through very regularly, good leg room in economy.
Make sure you have at least 2 hours on the way out, immigration queue can be quite lengthy at times.

We've only been through Toronto, so can't help with Montreal but everything was well signposted and easy to follow.

We have flown with them back from Montreal. They were fine - though my veggie option was possbly the worst meal I have ever had on a plane!

Both times we have landed at Montreal the non Canadian line has been short - less than 10 minutes.

This is how we feel too, doesn't matter who it is as we are going to our happy place 😃 The price was great for us also, £379 per person

We flew with Air Canada last year and cleared immigration in Toronto. It took a long time to clear immigration and Air Canada delayed our onward flight to enable us to catch the flight. The service in flight on transatlantic was very good and the food and drinks good. I had read terrible reviews online and was worried but I would definitely fly with them again.
