I saw that early this morning too. I didn’t realise it was a first post but my initial thought was why wouldn’t you ask advice from your seniors rather than strangers on a forum which could result in you doing something dangerous.

They nearly always seem to post in the early hours of the morning🤔. It was only by chance I caught today's. Normally by the time I come onto Dibb they have already been deleted so I miss them.

Me too and I was on the dibb pretty early.

I wonder why they always post so early and why do they bother?

Some people have a really weird way of getting their kicks.

It's as if they are fishing and waiting for a bite.

How do you know ?
I did notice the spelling was wrong but that's just me I can spot that a mile off.
What gave it away?
I'm just curious as I'm a bit naive when it comes to stuff like this. I obviously dont give out bank details and passwords to anyone, as I'm very cautious ,and usually I dont do any like comment and share to win a holiday in the maldives type stuff ... they maybe genuine but how do you know ?
I have often wondered this too! I naively read a post then a few replies down someone mentions it being a troll/scam post and they are usually correct as it gets removed later, but I have no idea how they know.

I don’t have any social media and this is the only forum I’m on so I’m possibly a bit too green behind the ears.

Missed this one but people are strange.

I was on a pregnancy forum when I was pregnant with my son (he's now 13)
Over the space of a few years a few people came on with usually multiple pregnancies (twins/triplets) and they would always lose one/them. Their story was always lies and it got them the attention they craved until they were found out.
Very odd behaviour.
