Yeah I posted the full link but it’s the same old same old.

She was asked if anything would be forthcoming before the (Xmas) holidays and gave a very non commital answer.

She did say as did Zients this morning to the travel advisory board that there are no changes to be made right now.

Wording
Q Jeff Zients said today though, “We are exploring considering vaccination requirements for foreign nationals traveling to the [United States],” that you’re “working now to be ready to replace the current restrictions with a new system for international travel” — reading those words from him.

So, what is the timeframe that you would imagine for that? Are we talking about weeks here? Are we talking about months before the holidays that are coming up? What can you tell us about that?

MS. PSAKI: So I said something similar in August, so did Jeff Zients, about our desire to work with — through these working groups — which is different from the domestic question; this is about the international component — to create consistent, equitable approaches to — that will also keep the American people safe and keep — stop the spread of COVID here.

I don’t have a projected timeline. It’s just an ongoing discussion that’s been on- — been happening since last August. Since August —

Just bit the bullet and booked Paris for a few nights start of November when we would have been in FL. I don’t think we’ll be in the cancellations tomorrow as flights are for 26th so suspect we’ll be the following week. I just want it done now so I can rebook for Feb, dare not cancel my DVC reservations till the flight is gone, by availability for our new dates is booking up fast.

I could understand if the USA had banned all countries, but they don't. They still allow countries with higher cases and poorer vaccination rates and always have

So Virgin confirmed on Twitter that my flight on the 14th MAN-MCO will be cancelled, I've popped info on the VS cancellation thread too. They confirmed I can wait it out to move my flights to September when they become available, too. Hope they honour this.

I do actually feel better now. Time to plan something else for this October's leave and get feeling Halloweeny without feeling sad about it! 🙂

That's because it's not about the virus. It's about politics. And that's something everyone can understand.

We were booked to fly on the 18th October, should I be expecting a cancellation email tomorrow then or will it be next week?

I'm hoping they drop the 72hr test before a flight home in these updates this week so we can at least go to Majorca next month instead

I’d like to hope so. We are the 15th, hoping ours is cancelled tomorrow too.
