Mobility Scooters at the Parks
Granny is coming with us and there are a couple of questions really:
1. any top tips for hiring a scooter on a daily basis at MK, HS and Universal? 2. Is there somewhere to leave them if we all go on a ride Thanks oh wise ones... x |

There are hundreds of them in the park. You can hire in the park but I would try and hire one off site and then take with you (cheaper)
In terms of leaving them, again plenty of places to leave them outside each ride. |

Perfect, thanks! Do you happen to know where outside of the parks would we likely get one?

We hired one last year from K&M Rentals (they're on FB).
After researching a few they came out the best value based on the way they calculate the price, plus they were the only ones that offered a sun canopy. They came to where we were staying to drop it off, gave us a quick 'tutorial' then came back at the end of the holiday to pick it up. I would hire from them again if the need ever came up. |

Another vote for K&M, although we pick up as we stay fairly near them, just a couple of miles along the 192. Next year will be the 4th time we've used them.
There's plenty of scooter parking, and depending on the ride, the CM will move it from the entrance to the exit while you ride, if appropriate. If you're staying on-site, I believe there's specific recommended companies they'll take delivery from, so look into that. If you're staying off site, we leave the bulk of the scooter in the car, and just take the battery in to charge /Mo |

Thinking about it, I’m not sure we’ll fit it in the car without upgrading to mini van (which I really don’t want to do!) - perhaps we’ll go with hiring at the parks. Great advice as usual - ta muchly!

If you hire on a daily basis at disney parks, look to prepay for a few days, you get a ticket you get stamped each day, works out a few $$$$ cheaper. X
