They're expensive but I do like a dessert party. We're going to MK just before New Year and it's my parents first visit. I think it'll be nice for them to have a rest for an hour and a good view of the fireworks.
I personally think that Disney fireworks can bring out the worst in some people so I like the dessert parties as they're more relaxed. ETA - I've booked the Tomorrowland Terrace party so we can have a proper sit down. It was $15 more expensive but I think it's worth it as mum and dad couldn't comfortabley sit on the floor. Does anyone know if the Plaza Gardens is now busier since they introduced the before fireworks party and the after fireworks party?
We've previously done plaza gardens when it was just the before party and had lots of space and an amazing view of the castle to see the projections and fireworks , outside the area was mobbed though! We were so glad to be in our little bubble, and we liked the desserts too😀 |

The price for the terrace desert party had a sharp increase a few years back, we went when it was a little cheaper and the view was amazing, and really nice and calm in there.
The food available is completely average, definitely not worth it. With the current price I wouldn't pay it at all. Didn't realise there was another option though; I will look into that. The usefulness of the DIBB strikes again! |

Is it worth it? Not in the sense of food etc, only if you want a good vantage point. Like everything in Disney now, just another extra to get more money out of us
