Universal City Walk without park tickets

I’m assuming you can visit CW area without park tickets as we don’t think were gonna do universal this time, but would like to go to the Hard Rock Cafe & a few other places. Also can you still get pictures of the Universal globe or is it ticketed beyond that point, I can’t remember from our visit in 2015.

Yes, City Walk is free to visit without needing tickets, and the globe is before the ticketed area as far as I can recall

Yes, the globe is outside the gates of Universal so you can get pictures there.

We have visited City Walk in the past without universal tickets and will do so again this year. The globe you can get photos from both sides(across the water on the bridge and right beside it) as that is how you get to hard rock so no ticket is needed

the 2 main icons (IoA lighthouse and USF's globe) are accessible without tickets

you can go wherever you want in Citywalk, but some venues will require a party ticket (different from the park tickets, and sometimes included in some park tickets)

this includes cover for clubs, and concerts at citywalk.

but eating at Hard Rock makes no problem

as others have said, parking after 6pm is free.
Before that you'll need to pay $26 for parking

if you go through security after 5pm note that you won't be allowed to enter with an open liquid container. water bottles need to be sealed from the store, or emptied at the checkpoint.
