Stressing about my connecting flights

Hi

I booked our flights a while ago - just searched London to Orlando, liked the price and departure and arrival times so booked them. One stop going, 2 stops on way back. I have just been printing my paperwork off and have now realised that on our return journey we only have 53 mins at Cincinnati and only 40 mins at Boston. Is this achievable - I am presuming it must be or surely it wouldn't have given me these flights - am I right to be feeling really stressed about it?

Thanks

On the upside, your bags should be checked straight through and you have already cleared immigration and security so just have to make it from one gate to the next.

The Cincinnati connection is just about within my comfort zone.

I would be a little worried about the 40 minutes at Boston but try not to worry about it. If you are travelling with the same airline all the way, they will put you on the next available flight if delays cause you to miss a connection. Since it's already booked and, looking at your countdown, departure is imminent try to take a "what will be, will be" attitude to it all and enjoy your holiday They will get you home.

Boston is tight but as PerksP says, if you're with the same airline you should be OK.

Have a great time.

Do you have different flight numbers for each leg of the journey, or one flight number for it all?

If your flights have all been booked on one ticket the airline will take care of you, should you miss a connection. If it's on two tickets, it's not a connecting flight, and you will be on your own if you miss one.

If its not an EU based airline, all they are obliged to do is put you on the next available flight if it's a through ticket, nothing else.

They may chose to do more than that, especially if the next available flight is the next day which is a real possibility on the way home.
However it's not something you can rely on.

I am aware of that, but could have made it clearer in my answer,

It's one of the down sides with booking indirect but I have done it several times now and have only had 1 problem when flying from Vegas to Orlando via Atlanta when tornadoes meant us having to land in Nashville to refuel and I missed my Orlando flight. I found a desk with a flight to Orlando and they put me straight on.

The only problem you MAY have is that if there is only 1 flight from Boston to the UK that night you'll have to wait until the next day, so make sure you put some essentials for an overnight just in case.

It should be fine but don't get caught out if there are problems.

I'm going next October and our first choice will be Delta indirect from Heathrow.
