32 degrees on Saturday

Okay it's only going to be short lived, but at least we can pretend we are in the Florida (without the afternoon rain and the expense).

This is my Saturday plan:

1) Have morning costa fix (and catch up with my many dibb friends)

2) walk doggie

3) Go for a cycle around the woods

4) complain it's too hot to sit in the garden even under the shade

It's my DD's sports day and summer fayre on Saturday down here in the South east and we are going to MELT!

I'm supporting my husband in Brighton doing a Maverick running race. Sun cream for me!

School Summer fete here also, I will be on a stall for 4 hours - lots of sun cream needed!

Remember not to walk dogs on tarmac or concrete in those temperatures as it will burn their paws.

So maybe do the dog walk before Costa.

We live in a flat two floors up. We have no garden. Can’t open windows due to lively cat. Hate summer.

Going to see our godson for his 4th birthday and then heading to air conditioned shopping mall for the rest of the day!

Booked tickets weeks ago to see A Midsummer Nights Dream at the Bridge Theatre was going to have dinner in London after, as it’s the matinee may now come home and spend the evening in the garden.

I Can’t walk her before costa or it would break my routine, and my dibb friends wait patiently every morning to see what jewel of a thread or post I’ve written.

We only walk her on grass early and although I don’t let her sleep in my room at night, I make an exception in the hot weather so she can enjoy the air con, or she would be panting outside my room.
