When to book September flights?

Prices don't seem terrible at the moment, but I have seen some great deals with Virgin/Thomas Cook for other months so not sure if locking in at around £460pp economy is a good deal or if waiting will be better? Such a minefield!

We booked our September flights just after Christmas in the current BA sale which ends on Tuesday this week.

I would be happy with £460 and I doubt you will get it any/much cheaper, but it could obviously get more expensive.

I would be happy £460 flying direct with TC.
We're still looking and hoping that TC or United drop their prices in the next few months.
Quite happy to wait until late July if necessary as it's only the 2 of us.
Previous years we've booked with BA but return flights have 3.5hr wait in London which we don't want.

£460 is a decent price from most U.K. Airports . I'd book at that price for September.

We could have got £350 indirect to Miami in September just after Christmas. Not going this year but a nice price to aim for for 2019.

Its a good deal. We booked our September flights with VA on 2nd Jan and it was about £406pp but the prices jumped after that so if you are getting £460 now I would go for it.
