DDP symbol still on menu boards!
I’ve been watching various Youtubers recently and have noticed at EPCOT Flower and Garden festival that the DDP symbol is on the menu boards next to various items but obviously you can’t even buy DDP at the moment. I can’t work out why they are on there, the menus are new so why have they been put on unless it will be back in some capacity soon? Any ideas?

I noticed that too & was hopeful it meant things might change soon, but I can’t see dining plans being back for a while yet whilst so many restaurants are still closed.

The logos where also on the menus during the festival of arts that was on in Jan and Feb, so I don’t think it’s an indicator it will come back soon. I imagine they put the logos on in case they do decide to bring them back while the event is still running.

It’s never been said that DDP is gone for good. It’s only while they deal with the Covid implications and that they have closed down a lot of places until capacity is brought up. It will be back soon enough. Free dining is the big unknown.

I imagine the planning for festivals happens many, many months in advance so they'd rather have the symbol just incase something changes between planning and the event.

When you go to book you get this message on their website:
Disney Dining Plans Update At this time, Disney Dining Plans are currently unavailable and cannot be added to reservations. To ensure that you're kept up to date on future dine offerings, please opt-in to receive our special offers and updates when confirming your booking. Doubt they would gave that message if there wasn't a good chance it's coming back...
