Getting Excited
|
Our first time LGW to Tampa next September. Hve never used TPA but been to Busch gardens loads of times & always found the drive up the I4 a breeze.

The only toll plaza I anticipate driving through next April/May is this one on the Osceola Parkway just west of the Loop.
However the main reason we go to the Loop is for B&BW and the new one at Posner is much nearer and a toll free drive. Usually need to visit half a dozen anyway as who can resist a B3G3F offer coupled with a 20% off email. Mick

I've told her she'll have to stay dirty until the next day. First breakfast at Bob's at Posner then over the 27 to B&BW.
We have been to a B&BW in Lakeland Square Mall just off I-4 but what an awful place that is. It lost Macy's about 4 years ago and you expect to see tumbleweed blowing through the mall. Mick

At least let her have a bath/shower for Christmas and obviously pre flight , there’s nothing worse than been in the vicinity of bad body fumes !
Love a first day plan especially when breakfast is first up Sadly there may be lots of tumbleweed moments everywhere just like here |

Should have been flying into Tampa this Thursday 😒. Hopefully next year. Sounds like it's a good airport to land at and much nearer to Orlando than Miami Airport .

Easy airport to navigate but as someone has mentioned if you hit rush hour on the I 4 it can be very busy, just need to miss that, if it was cheap enough though I wouldn't hesitate.

Joan's not too impressed when I ask if she's ready for coffee at 4am on the first morning. We try not to go in the spa until around 7am so we can see the sunrise as our avatar photo.
The sun will still rise next April though. Mick
