Mobile World Gin Day

So I may be clutching at straws for reasons to enjoy a tipple but apparently today is world Gin Day! So enjoy your favourite gin (hopefully in some sunshine) today!
Cheers 🥂

World gin day seems an excellent excuse to partake of a gin or two! Will maybe wait till later though. Cheers!

The Lidl Hortus Gin, particularly the pink one is very nice. Regularly top the awards and developed by Kevin Love. Very well priced. It is made by G&J (Greenalls) who also make Greenall’s Gin, Opihr, Bloom, Thomas Dakin Gin and Berkeley Square.

Grab yourself a bargain. It is actually very close if not the same as Opihr.

Greenhalls distillery is at Birchwood which isn’t too far from me. Apparently a fifth of the worlds gin is produced there. Colette’s interesting fact of the day

I’ve got the Aldi’s Seville Orange and Lime gin, which is award winning and not too overpowering in its fruit flavour.

I also like Adnams’ Copper House Dry Gin, which I first tried in their shop in Southwold. You can buy it from supermarkets too. They do another couple of varieties.

I also had a selection pack of gins with different Fevertree tonics a year or 2 ago which was fun.
