We've been in London a few times, usually the Convent Garden one which used to be insanely busy as right in a tourist hotspot. Price-wise it's typical for the area so you're looking at that London cost of well over £10 for burger, fries and a drink, similarly priced to UK Five Guys.

In terms of the food, it's decent. DW is a Shake Shack fiend and while she still likes the UK ones a lot she has convinced me after our last trip to Orlando that the taste of the burgers in the US branches is better than the UK ones. Not a huge different but I think she's right that the US beef tastes better at SS

BYW if in that Convent Garden area I would recommend going to MEATliquor instead, similar proposition but better and a small UK chain

Weíve been to the Cardiff branch and really enjoyed it. The food tasted good and reasonably similar to Shake Shack in New York. The shakes and fries taste exactly the same, I would possibly agree with MrsCMG that the meat in the burgers are a little less juicy but the toppings etc are still good. Itís worth a visit 😀

It's pretty good, on the small side but there's an upstairs bit. Both those London branches the staff on the till are always a struggle, seem to be permanently in training but food is fine

We adore SS and always go at least once in our US trips (once twice within a few hours 😳&#128514 I did have it once in Covent Garden. It was nice and hit the spot inbetween US visits. But like many things it never tastes the same as when you are on holiday!

Found it poor in Covent Garden and massively overpriced - maybe twice the US cost (?). It was much cheaper in JFK Airport which tells you something. Iíve also been to the one near our office at Mansion House.
I think 5 Guys is better, even if that is also overpriced.
In the US both chains are great.

We discovered Shake Shack in New York and loved it, eating at the one in the park by the Flat Iron several times. My DD found, although they havenít got a fast food outlet, they did deliveries in Brighton. As a Shake Shack addict (like us) she delighted in ordering in and teasing us with photos.

Weíve been to the a Victoria location a couple of times. I quite like the mushroom burger. I think itís similarly priced to Five Guys.
I agree that Meat Market around the back of the market in Covent Garden is far better though. Not massively keen on the other locations I think theyíre too big
