We always meal plan because our working pattern is a nightmare (back in the good days anyway!). We do eat a lot of chicken but you can change the meat up.

Curry, Spanish chicken, carbonara, spag bol, Cajun chicken (one pan sachet thing), jackets, toad in the hole, gammon/pork chops with new pots and veg, lasagne, cottage pie, pesto pasta, fajitas, beef bourguignon (with pots and veg one night and rice the next), stir fry, steak and chips.

We will have a quick bung it in the oven style fish and chips once a month, and on a day off it would be roast or steak pie - we’d only get two a month so everything else had to be quick.

Put browed sausages in the slow cooker add batter now this sounds daft put a clean dish towel I find the glass cloth type ones best over the top of the pot put the lid on and cook on high for 2and a half hours
It’s my mothers trick if she’d been caught up in other things but it’s delish honest
Ps I serve with onion gravy that’s pre made frozen and then reheated
I wish i could double ‘like’ this post one of mine and DH fav meals and didnt realise i could do in slow cooker!
