English Muffins
Bit of a strange request, but one of the things I love when in Florida are the amazing "English muffins". Toasted with plenty of butter - can't beat them. The irony is that despite their name, I've so far failed to find any that are as good as the American ones back at home in the UK. The ones I remember from Walmart and Target are Thomas' Nooks & Crannies English Muffins. I've tried the ones from all the major bakery brands and supermarkets in the UK but nothing comes close. The nearest ones are the ones from McDonalds breakfast menu.
Does anyone have any suggestions where we might be able to buy ones that are close to the ones in Florida / US? |

Try Tesco for 'Warburtons' toasting muffins or Tesco's own brand.

I find Warburtons ones the best. The own brands are not quite as good imo, always heavier. All the supermarkets have them. About 90p or £1 for 4.
Have tbh, the American ones are not quite right imo.

The Warburtons ones are pretty close to the ones you get in McDonalds, we have ended up trying most brands (when they've been substituted in the shopping) but in our opinion the Warburtons are the best.

I'd agree with the above - Tesco own brand and Warburtons are pretty close to McDonalds.
Regardless, we've ditched regular muffins and Sheldon's over bottom muffins are our brunch staple now - ghsheldon/lancashi...bottom-muffin/ |
