Seattle to LA road trip

Has anyone done a Seattle to LA road trip?

Considering the idea for September 2026, but not sure how many days to set aside or places to visit in Washington and Oregon. Already done a lot of Northern California and up to Crater Lake so that part I'm more familiar with.

Interested to hear what people suggest. Have looked at going to play golf at Bandon dunes which is north of San Fran. There does seem to a lot of wilderness on the road north.

Washington and Oregon are my two favourite states and I'd happily live there. Have a look at the trip reports in my signature for Seattle to San Francisco and then Pacific NW and Vancouver/Vancouver Island, easily our best holiday.
There's so much to see in these states and we loved the coast too. Feel free to ask any questions when you've had a read 🙂
