Universal Studios Japan Premium Express Pass

Hi, has anyone ever bought the Premium express pass you can only buy on the USJ site in Japanese? Apparently it is not available in the English version of the site. It lets you rock up to various attractions whenever you like unlike the other versions where you have a time to come back. It seems a right faff to get it and not exactly cheap either, but just curious if anyone has ever bothered with it. Thanks

Not me sorry - just the normal passes I bought.

Thanks Anthony, I'd never heard of it before, but you know what it's like when you keep delving and you come up with all sorts To be honest I think we will just go with the normal express. I've booked provisionally the Front of the Park hotel as well and we will get done what we can and leave the rest. So long as we get into SNW, Jaws and I can get that red waffle thing I'll be happy

Think you should get them OK with normal passes

One thing to br aware of, SNW is like a cauldron in hot weather, with not as much shaded areas or seating to sit on in the outside areas. We spent an hour in the end of the tunel into SNW - to kill time in shade before we could go for our meal in the Mario cafe type place.

We bought express passes for Universal in Japan. We bought them via the app, which we could translate into English. You had various options depending on what rides you wanted to prioritise. We booked as soon as possible as they sell out quickly.

I’m not sure if this is the same thing?

I found Chris TDR explorer really helpful for all things universal and Disney in Japan.

First time visitor here to USJ (going in June) what’s the red waffle and where do I get it? Sounds like something I need to add to my snack list!

Hiya the red waffle is a waffle shaped like Mario’s hat and has cream and strawberries. It looks absolutely Devine. It’s in one of the cafes in the SNW section

I’m embarrassed to say my main interest in getting into the park now is to eat and drink everything in that link
