El Mercado - Coronado Springs QS

Has anyone eaten here recently? I was having a look at menus online and noticed that there are a lot of expensive options available here, including steak and mash for $22!

That would be a good option for anyone with QS credits and I was wondering if it would be worth a visit just to give it a try. I've never been so would be happy to have a look around the resort anyway.

I’m sure many others will have a different view but Coronado Springs is the least favourite of all the Disney hotels I’ve stayed in and the food court and options are part of it. I just didn’t really like it. The resort itself is beautiful but I’d not hurry back

agreed, we stayed there in 2023 and transferred to a different hotel after a week. The food options were plenty but quality poor and the staff in the quick service were rude

We stayed in 2019 and the food court was much the same as anywhere else. I wouldn’t make a special trip for it but the resort is nice to have a walk around so if you were going to have a look anyway.

I found the food court not that great in 2022 (loved the resort though). Prices were also more expensive for the same items at other resort food courts. I believe that’s due to the food court being run by a third party operator rather than Disney itself. If using credits pricing wont be much of an issue.

Example of current pricing-kids mickey waffles are $12.50 vs $7.59 at other resorts. Muffin $5 vs $4.29 at other resorts. Bacon cheese burger $16.50 vs $13.49 at other resorts.

Its funny how everyone sees differently! we stayed in 2023 and we all thought it was better than some of the deluxes we have stayed in! the resort really amazed us! The quick service was great , and if you wanted to check the resort out anyway i would go,although 3 bridges is even nicer!

Thanks, The online menu I looked at must have the incorrect price, I did think that difference was excessive compared to everything else.

Could some of the price difference be explained by tax? Some WDW resorts and parks are in a different county and CSR is close to AK which I believe is a different county.
