Tetris - was fantastic! Brilliant soundtrack too. Want to watch Rocketman next as I really like Taron Egerton.

Just watched Mufasa. I thought it was okay. Not too bad, a bit slow in parts, but I did appreciate the lions had emotions this time around.

Watched The life list last night - such a lovely gentle film - although I ugly cried all the way through and my eyes are very sore this morning!

Watched Mufasa on the weekend and completely agree with Junogirl’s review above. We found it ok, but slow and drawn out, not really very original and the music forgettable. The animals were more realistic this time and the film was ‘pretty’ but nowhere near as good as the original animation

I went to see Jason Statham's new film, A Working Man.
It was ok, action was good, dialogue was cringe, written by Sly Stallone! Also 20 mins too long. The Beekeeper was better! |

Watched Joy last night, the story of the development of IVF. Really enjoyed it. My Aunt was treated at Bourn Hall sadly unsuccessfully. My Gt Nephew an IVF miracle nearly 3 years old 🥰

Play Misty For Me (1971)
 I'm now exploring classic Clint Eastwood films that I never watched before. This was a really good and intense thriller about a DJ being stalked by a crazy fan after a one-time stand - a bit like Fatal Attraction but better, in my opinion! Well worth a watch. |
