Took our granddaughter at 9 weeks then 6 & 9 months , and also her brother at 9 months , The trip at 9 weeks was a 3500 miles 5 state road trip .
formula take it in your hand luggage in case hold luggage gets lost . Most we’ve taken is 4 large tins and it wasn’t an issue , case was just scanned as normal . To sterilise we bought a big plastic container , milton sterilising tablets and just added cold water. I bought a kettle from Walmart for $15 as travel kettles are so small and slow to heat up , It’s served us for at least 7 trips . We’ve always taken our own car seats and never once had an issue and most people seem to take their own seats. We ( as in us with our own kids and now my daughter with hers ) have never had strict schedules with regards to bedtime . And they’ve always been happy to sleep in their pram / pushchairs in the evenings if we were eating out or in the parks . We also took their proper pram / pushchairs with us rather than a travel pushchair or a cheap stroller . Ours were Bugaboo Fox and we’ve never had any damage . We figured they would spend more time than normal in the pushchair so wanted something that was super comfy for them and easy to push etc … |

Yeah when we took our 8 month at the time we didn't stick to any rigid routine he just fell asleep at the restaurant we would be in and put him in the cot when we got him to the hotel. The walk in the pram with a blanket draped over it was much better at getting him to sleep than two stressed out parents trying to get a baby to sleep in a hotel room in the early evening.
They will fall back onto thier normal routine soon enough when they get back. |

Definitely get a baby carrier/ sling and you can also get baby ear defenders if you do stick around for fireworks

This is very much dependent on the baby and Op will know what their child is like. If ours fell asleep while we were out he would be awake for hours when we got back because he is one of those babies who can’t just be transferred without him waking up, so we choose to stick to his routine which definitely made him happier and didn’t have any issue getting him to sleep.
