Have a look at Costco, they supply the latest top spec hearing aids for a fraction of the price. Same manufacturer but different names for Costco.
I’ve got £5k hearing aids which I got before Costco started selling hearing aids but when the time comes I’ll get my replacements there.

I have NHS hearing aids, both ears for a couple of years. I love them, they really help. I have moderate hearing loss in one ear and moderate to severe in the other. I use an app to set them and it has a noise filter which stops that tinny sound.

I was surprised how quickly I got used to them and wear them all day nearly every day.

I wear hearing aids - severe hearing loss, I get the NHS ones,nothing wrong with them at all.

My DH wears NHS hearings aids and are discreet and fine. Boots wanted £4000 and then he went to an independent audiologist who also said he needed them but advised him he can get them free on the NHS. Saw GP got a referral and appointment within a couple of months and hearing aids fitted. Gets the batteries free from the hospital and saved £4000.

I've got the bone conductor AfterShokz headphones that I can bluetooth to the Sky glass, and it does work, but the sound takes some getting used to.

I'll do some digging.

I'm very much an android/Samsung person, so would need to see if the functionality would work without an iphone.

DH has a Google pixel phone but he used his iPad to set them up, hope this helps x

Hi, I have worn NHS hearing aids since I was about 13 (now 48!) and my latest hearing aids you can stream music through them, answer your phone calls via blue tooth and they are amazing compared to what I used to have. I also can control them from my phone!

Maybe try cleaning out your ears if you haven't.
