Mobile Tom Sawyer island question

Hey all
My partner will be hiring a mobility scooter but we was wondering if it’s possible to do Tom Sawyer island ?
If not on scooter she can walk short distances so would anyone know if this is more suitable ?

Any advice welcome
Thank you

You can't bring the scooter over. The island is is not particularly easy to walk around IMO with stairs, bouncy floating bridges etc. TBH with reduced mobility I would give it a miss. You also have to stand on the raft over. It was built in the 70's without disabled access in mind.

Thanks Donna
I thought this would be the case but I haven’t been for over 12 years , so I didn’t know if anything had changed .

I didn't know about the manual chair policy. It is so inaccessible on the island we have never tried.
