We've done over 30 cruises on 6 different cruise lines. At first we always had balcony cabins but now go for insides - we really don't spend too much time in the cabin. Being retired we are flexible when and for how long we go, so we search out the deals which means we have a limit of around £80ppn. Our upcoming cruises (all inside cabins) are: Transatlantic on Princess £59pppn, Caribbean on Princess £78pppn, Venice to Durban on MSC £54pppn. So for us, the lower the £pppn means more cruise days and cruises.😎

As a guide for a bargain cruise then sub £100 pppn is good, this would be ex flights.
I compare this to what it would cost me for a hotel, food and entertainment on a land based holiday on a similar area, e.g caribbean, mediterranean.
The longer the cruise e.g. 15 days + and more sea based days will often bring the pppn down.

Disney, school holidays etc will be more than £100 pppn but then this would be the same for land based in Disney or schools.
