Is the Busch Gardens Dine All Day ticket worth it?

As per title really.

I received an email about this today from BG and was wondering if it was worth it? It's £30 per adult and £16 per child.

We are a family of 5 plus my PIL so 5 adults and 2 children in total.

We have planned a full day at BG, but not sure whether to spend the extra.

Thanks in advance.

xx

A lot of it depends on the rides you intend to do, If your doing the coasters then people my not feel like eating much

We always get it and it's well worth it, but only if you plan to be there all day. Soft drinks and water also included so it's handy not to have to carry water.

don't suppose there's anywhere to eat in the park, covered by the plan, before it actually opens? Wouldn't want to eat into too much park time if it was me

That's true...h has suggested getting it and heading there for Park opening for breakfast (haven't actually checked breakfast menus at BG yet) then doing some rides, but I'm sure we'd spend more than £30 per adult on lunch and dinner in the park? I'm using DLP as my food price guide as we've never been to Florida and the PIL went way back in 2002 but I don't think they did BG, only magic kingdom and universal.

It would only be me and h who'd be riding the coasters, mil has vertigo, fil is afraid of them, 2 of our children are too small for them and my eldest is a maybe - depending on how he's feeling that day.

I think from what you've said, it probably is worth it, but no it doesn't work for breakfast and I remember us waiting for one of the designated cafes to open at 11 to get a drink ( though they will happily give you water ) which was v frustrating having been in the park in extreme heat for two hours already! We used it a lot for drinks and snacks throughout the day - they do lovely fruit pots which are v refreshing - and the Zambia Smokehouse is our favourite for eating in. Bear in mind that only certain restaurants are allowed and that can be frustrating if you're not in the right area and you feel like a drink or a snack. But if you go knowing that, you can plan your route and keep your expectations realistic and enjoy what's on offer to you. From personal experience, we did it our first couple of times when the kids got child prices, but don't now, a) because we're all full price b) we're all into the big rides and are satisfied with one snack and one meal and c) we don't stay a full day anymore.

We have a large family, 7 kids in total, and previous trips we will buy one adult food pass, for the wife and I and share the food. then 2 more adult ones for the 4 teens and 2 kids for the little dorklings. you can get ALOT OF FOOD this way and we all kind of do a share. our next trip is just the wife and I and we have gotten the food plans for both of us, seeing as the dorklings are staying home.

You can get it a bit cheaper 26.95 at thomson holidays and Orlando attractions. I was looking at it but I don't think I'll bother because when we go it is open 10 til 5 so too late for breakfast and too early for dinner so I wondered if it would be worth it. We had the Seaworld one last year and we loved it.

I'd say it's still worth it for the water along. Circa $4 a bottle when you're in there and at least you don't have to carry them around with you. 2 meals will set you back $30 dollars without drinks.

The band is handy too to not have to be taking money out all the time.

Thought a bit more today and decided to go for it again. It was good last year not carrying bags around Seaworld and like you say we won't have to take much cash out with us. I know a lot of people say they didn't think much of the SeaWorld food options but we really liked it !
Cashed in some of my Quidco cashback and bought both the Seaworld and Busch Gardens dining for £209 for the 4 of us. Daughter hardly eats anything and the thought did cross my mind for us to share but its just wrong really isn't it and it isn't worth the embarrassment because I'm sure people notice.
