Quick question Ghirardeli at Disney Springs can we use our dining plan for any snacks/drinks etc using credits

yes, some things were on the dining plan but not many. I think it was up to 6 usd.

however they used to allow using few snack credits to buy chocolate from their store

Yes you can use snack credits there, my favourite is an ice cream cone and the bars of their chocolate.

Same is true for almost every restaurant with snack priced items, just in case you were curious. The website isn't very clear, it will only mark a restaurant as on the DDP if they serve things that qualify for either a QS or TS credit. No mention of snacks!

we went in May..the side which sells the icecream offers one scoop of icecream in a tub or one scoop in a cone for one snack credit...the cones come in three sizes though..we chose the largest one which was huge haha and had chocolate around the edge..was very nice

the side which sells the chocolate bars..they offer quite a few different things as a snack credit and when we went if you got 3 bars you got one free so ended up with loads of chocolate haha
