Cooking ideas when having dinner at villa

Any suggestions of things to buy for easy dining-in ideas... especially things that we wouldn't normally get in the uk.

We both love fish / sea food and love the variety our local publix has really proper racks of ribs and good barbecue sauce done on the barbecue Mango key lime pie or a cheese cake with loads of different slices apple pie laced with cinnamon spicy or mild Italian Sausage
And barbecue beans and home style potatoe salad all from publix or Winne Dixie

I made a great lasagne in our apartment in June. Just got a pound of minced beef, a jar of tomato sauce and a jar of Alfredo sauce, dried lasagne sheets and some grated parmesan. Easy.

Whole hot cooked chicken, ready made Caesar salad bowl.

That and whacking a frozen ready meal in the oven is about as far as I go with "cooking" over there.

we also picked up pizza from Papa John's on the way back to the villa - it was next to a publix - so large pizza, ready made salad and a bottle of day-glo fanta

I'm on holiday - why should I cook?

I will buy readymade stuff and bung it in the microwave and/or frozen oven chips but that's as far as it goes.

We do buy rolls and hot dogs/packs of BBQ pulled chicken and knock up our own cheap lunches when staying off site.

So far, every time we've been on site we've had the dining plan in one form or another.

The most we've ever cooked is a BBQ - once when we were at Penny Owen's villa last year. With lots of prepared salad type stuff.

We generally found it was cheaper to eat out than cook it ourselves as we usually go overboard when we shop

Get curbside takeout from outback, don't even have to get out of the car to pick it up and you can order online!

Stuffed salmon, grilled shrimp, lobster all from Publix. They'll cook it for you while you do the rest of the shopping. Or it takes a few minutes when you're home.

Go to Denny's, Olive Garden, or any other restaurant that does 'meals to go'. Buy food. Take home. Pour wine. Eat.

Occasional ready meal if we're not that hungry after lunch.
