Tomorrow night, pre-security food at Gatwick?
Hi all,
We are staying at the Gatwick North Prem Inn tomorrow night before flying. Is it easy to get across to the South terminal? I think we'd like to eat at Giraffe. Or do you have any other recommendations for before security food (no car so airport only!). Thanks! |

Ps. we are actually flying to Greece, Florida isn't until October, but I'm sure it technically doesn't matter!

You can catch the airport monorail over to the south terminal to eat at Giraffe.
Happy holidays!

very easy to get to the South termial, the shuttle runs very few minutes and takes about 2 mins jjourney time. Giraffe is ok, but we are going to do a carpet picnic this year and just relax in our hotel rather than eat at airport.
I think the options at north terminal are better on the whole, but if staying at the premier inn, we would always do the meal deal - £23.99 each two course evening meal (pay £2 more to upgrade to 3 course), drink with your meal (glass of wine, pint of beer or large soft drink) and the breakfast the next morning. If you have children, just pay for their evening meal (£5.50 dinner, pudding and drink) and they eat breakfast free with you. I have eaten at the North Gatwick Premier Inn loads, as I used to stay here for work, the food is really good, but book a table when you get there, as they can get very busy. |

There is a fairly new Culpeppers at the North terminal, landside.
They brew their own gin on-site so good gin cocktails but they also do a bar snack menu and full restaurant menu too and whilst we didn't eat there, the food looked good. |

Thanks all!
We love a good gin cocktail so I think the Culpeper it is! Saves going to the South Terminal. |
