Great news. We have a Sainsbury's on the estate and I buy petrol from there too. Plus our gas and electricity is with Sainsbury's so we get extra Nectar points from that.

This is definately good news. I never know what to do with my nectar points. I have always saved them for the November double up but they have limited that to £50 and so not nearly as good as before.

I see there is also a 500 mile bonus if you transfer 1600 nectar points before 14th Feb. Given you can move both ways its basically £4 for nothing if you then transfer it back to nectar.

This is brilliant. We are sitting on a useless nectar pile.

You can redeem them in Argos. Maybe treat yourself to a Ninja Cooker thingy which are popular on here

It's long amazed me how poor the Nectar scheme was relative to the Tesco Clubcard scheme and although we are Tesco -> Virgin folk, like most we have some Nectar points in various accounts and, having used BA/AA a few times, I'm sure we could put them to good use.

The benefit for swapping back and for is useful. But am saving for some.points flights at the minute so prob swap them over to BA.

Also hopefully count as one of those keep your account active moves. Just swap back and for so as to not lose avois points in the pandemic

I find Avios to be less than useful if you don't travel from London. You have to connect there. Can't get say direct from Edinburgh to Paris instead you have to go via London.

Got 125 000 Avios which would be a nice £1000 in Sainsburys, ebay or Argos.
