Similar dates to us 25 sept to 9 Oct.. prices are crazy from Manchester. Not paying over 1k for a premium seat... ridiculous. have been delaying booking everything else because of flights, just so I can cancel.. only have the week onsite paid with a deposit.

We're going to fly from Glasgow next year - tracking prices with VA and i'm probably going to wait till Xmas as there are still plenty of seats. PE for 24th - 9th is currently £940 pp, where Manchester is £1335 for the same flights. I'm just going to use some miles to knock it down a bit - poor use of them but every little helps as they say. It's nearer for us (3+ hours) than Gatwick was last year (5+ hours) but Manchester would always be our first choice (2+ hours).

Glasgow is only 10 miles less than Gatwick for us, so still 7+ hours away. Manchester really is our only option, so if prices don't come down by early new year, I'll have to be looking at indirect.
