Mich Turner's latest cookery book - good deal on Book People

I like to collect cookery books - especially cakes and saw the latest Mich Turner (Little Venice Cake Company) called Have Your Cake and Eat It in my local Waitrose today selling at �15. Amazon has it for �14.69 and Book People have two versions with slightly different covers at �17.60 and �5.99.

I contacted Book People about this difference and here is their reply:-

"Please be advised that it would appear that these books are the same, just with a slightly different cover. The one at �5.99 comes direct from ourselves whereas the �17.60 version comes from a supplier, hence the difference in price. The one that we have at �5.99 will stay at that price."

So if anyone is looking for ideas for early Christmas gifts or pressies it could be a good deal as they offer Quidco too - 6% at the minute.

I read the page over and over again and tried to find the ISBN numbers to be as certain as I could it was the same book. Eventually I suppose the �17.60 one could come down in price but probably take ages and may never get to �5.99.

definitely looks the same to me - at �5.99 I don't mind if it is a slightly older version as I don't have this one yet.

Book people previously confirmed in an email to me that the publication date of the �5.99 was 9 March 2017 as was the �17.60 one.

I received my copy of the �5.99 one and it is exactly the same as the dearer one just a different cover

- pleased with my bargain.

Just a heads up if anyone still wants a copy of this book - Book People have it at �3.99

And they also have Baking with Kim Joy (GBBO) at �5.99.

Quidco cashback at 6% for existing customers too.
