Boston or Atlanta?

Which is the best to fly to indirect for getting through immigration and to your departure gate?

There's too many variables for anyone to answer. Atlanta is very big, but immigration depends on how many planes/people are in the queue before you etc - the same as any other airport. I agree with munmun about keeping south in the winter months.

Our fastest ever connection was under 20 minutes in Phili, but that doesn't happen for everyone.

Atlanta is a much better connecting airport in my view. Easy to navigate. Plus it isn't as susceptible to weather related delays in the winter.

I would go for Atlanta. We found JFK quite easy to connect through if that's an option, but there can be lots of weather delays there, like after a severe thunderstorm we were taxiing for nearly 3 hours this summer!

I think for flying in October, Atlanta might be the best one to fly too. Many thanks for the replies. Just wanted to know so I can be ready for when i find flights at the right price for next year when they are released.
