You should have got them at check in?

If you’re not staying in a Disney hotel you’ll have to buy them

We need more information.

Where are you staying? Onsite. You get them at check in.

Offsite - Have you bought tickets including free magic bands ? These are collected at Disney Springs.

Or are you offsite with normal tickets? In which case you can buy them from anywhere at WDW.

We bought a 14 day pass package with free magic bands. We are not in a Disney hotel.

Sorry didn’t read your response properly...looks like it’s a ride to Disney springs

When I went last year, I picked up my magic band in Disney Springs in the World of Disney shop. I just asked one of the CM's there and he took my name, checked my ID and then went out the back to get it for me.
I'm sure I had an email confirmation and it said in the email where to pick up?! If not just ask at guest services and they will tell you where to go to get them.

Edited at 07:26 PM.

You should have received a voucher by email (when you bought the tickets) to take to the World of Disney at Disney Springs.

The voucher did say Disney springs so my bad. However where to collect it from at Disney springs was far from clear. I was initially directed to guest services, who the redirected me to the work of Disney store. After queueing at 3 checkouts I was finally directed to a small deck on a checkout at the far end of the store. After another queue I finally made it to the assistant only for her to tell me that there was a 40minute wait for the bands. With my wife and 2 very tired children waiting in the car I gave up at that point.

For a country that prides itself on hospitality and customer service this was simply dreadful. To think that you pay nearly £1.5k for passes on to their parks only to get treated like this. Not happy...

That’s not good enough. I’d have been frustrated as well.

I would make a complaint about that.

Sounds like it is the same desk they use for the free $200 gift cards. They act like no-one ever asked for this before!
