Has anyone used BA Fly & Drive and if so MUST you use the car? If that makes sense?

TUI prices seem to be unusually high tbh.

I'm keeping my hopes up to snap up some cheap seats with Norwegian as I did this year... yes I know Norwegian are in also a bad place right now, but things are looking slightly better with the fact they'll have most of their 787's back in the coming weeks.

We paid £313pp including x2 checked bags and bagged free extra leg room seats & free meals, even though we were on the lowest ticket type they offer.

£400pp would be lovely! Happy to do indirect for more savings.

Please update this thread if/when you book so that I can see prices.

Hey Shaun, if you're in Devon could you not fly from Exeter?

Just had a a look on BA. we fly on the 9th and used the 13th as it was the last date on there even though we fly back on the 26th to get an idea. It was £2225 for four adults a nine year old and nine month old, think I’m happy with that 😀

Yes it’s an option I’m open to looking at. We live in Newton Abbot so Exeter is not that far away.

Our TC flights were around £550 each, inc luggage and seat selection. I've looked at Virgin fly-drive prices, and they're ridiculous. Almost £1000pp. For September! TUI don't really have dates to match up, and only allow 7-14-21 night stays (we've booked for 16 nights), but are still nearing £800pp around that time.

From where we live, Gatwick is an extra 5 hour drive, on top of the 2+ hour drive to Manchester, so it'd need to be a huge saving for us to consider switching.

Unfortunately, most of our group won't consider indirect, so I've got my work cut out for me to get decent flights
you fly same dates as me we also had tc flights and are now waiting for the 11 month window where are you staying
