San Francisco Love Tours (in a VW Camper).
Just a heads up on this one. My wife was very keen to do this 2 hour guided tour in a hand painted VW air cooled camper.. Complete with Shag Pile Carpets and 1960s music. She had found it on Tripadvisor, Viator etc and asked that I book it for her birthday.
Best price that I could find in the UK £53.99pp SF Travel ( a US site), managed $45pp... (£37.50 at 1.2). Upon booking, you phone ‘Love Tours and request an appropriate time slot.(All now done). It looks awesome fun , has numerous photo stops and visits Haight Ashbury as well as going down the Lombard Zigzags. Limit is 6 persons per van. Hoping it helps somebody besides us.

We were there a couple of years back and 3 nights worked well for us. It was sufficient for Cable Car, Union Sq, Fishermen’s Wharf, Alcatraz on day 1.. Then Dylan’s cycle tour out to Sausalito where we were picked up and taken through Marin to Muir Woods before then being dropped back in SFO.
Next Easter, it is Alcatraz again, the Love Tour, A haunted type walk tour around Tenderloin at night and hiring some cycles for a pedal out to Bonito Point to see the Nike Air Defence site... (the wife thinks it is just a beauty spot)... again, 3 nights.

If anyone struggles to get a booking with the above company, Painted Ladies do a similar thing, we did a 3 hour tour a few weeks ago for £57ish at 1.2 $ to £
No shag pile tbf but vw camper, music, Lombard Street covered We'll be doing their Napa valley tour if we ever return to San Francisco as VW bus + wine can't go wrong
