What might surprise some people is that the cost of the US tickets, including the Annual Passes, has increased significantly more in relative terms than the UK tickets have. A lot of people think the UK tickets are getting really expensive but American guests are also seeing big increases.
And, yes, the APs have really gone up in price, relatively speaking. It used to be the case that an AP was about twice the price of a 14-day ticket but now they are at least 2.5 times the cost. A Platinum Plus pass only becomes worthwhile if you visit 3 or more times in a year (or you visit twice in a year and spend at least $3K on parking, restaurants and merch).
