I have been at that times quite a few trips and the weather is lovely. Warm during the day and cool at night. The long range forecast for the next few weeks is to be in the low 30's during the day and low 20s in the evening. I would definitely take a zipper top at least. We have seen rain as well but I have never taken a brolly I just head for the bar or the pool deck.

I have also been over Thanksgiving and the run up I have found to be quite quiet. Most Americans dont get a massive amount of leave so I have fund they tend to take the Thursday of Thanksgiving and then the Friday as leave giving a long weekend. Busiest travel day in USA is the Wednesday before if memory serves me correct.
We flew home on Black Friday two years ago and must confess to spending Thanksgiving evening sat in Subway at Walmart so we could watch the ensuing carnage! Was very very interesting for sure.

I love that time of year and will be there from 26th October for 3 weeks. Cant wait!

Thanks for your replies, I plan to visit the universal parks on the Sunday and Monday for a follow up (I'm intending to do all the rides the week before) so I'm sticking with that plan after reading your replies and if it gets too much I'll just retire to the lone palm bar (one of my favourite places in the world) for extra drinks

We visited last November from 5th-19th and every day, bar one, was glorious.

We left just as the thanksgiving crowds were arriving and by golly, our final morning in MK was horrific, we couldn’t leave fast enough. We did notice an upswing in crowds increasing on that last weekend
