If your party is 4 or more check the price of your transfer against the cost of a Quicksilver chauffeured car (they advertise here) you may find it almost the same or even cheaper because they charge per car and the transfer charges per person.
A chauffeured car will take you direct to your resort (with a Publix stop on the way if you want) where the transfer may be in a coach that a)has to wait until all the people booked are boarded and b) may call at up to 6 resorts before yours. It can take ages. Worth looking into. |

It's not "really" far away but it is quite a bit further away than Orlando Intl airport.
Sanford airport is about 45 miles away from CBR. It takes about an hour to drive. Whereas Orlando Intl airport is about 20-25 miles away from CBR and takes about 30 minutes to drive. So Sanford is about 20 miles and half an hour further away (approximately!). The coach transfer will be set up by TUI. As you exit the main airport building you'll see a rep who can guide you to where you pick up your coach or minibus. You get on the coach, showing your paperwork, and wait until it is full. Then the coach will head off. It will probably drop off at a few other hotels along the way. You may have to wait half an hour on the coach and the drive should take about an hour. Sanford airport is smaller than MCO. It's easier to navigate and usually you don't queue as long through immigration and security. However, on the way back there isn't much at the airport - just a small handful of shops. I would advise eating and/or buying snacks before you get to the airport.

I did say *usually* you don't queue as long at Sanford. Yeah, I'm sure sometimes the queue at MCO is shorter than at Sanford.
I've only ever been through MCO once and I did think it was quite good. For those staying onsite, the Magical Express from MCO is definitely a plus and I'd happily fly there again.
