Rock 'n' Roller Coaster with Aerosmith Change!

Is anyone else upset that the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is changing from Aerosmith to Avengers?
My DW is as she usually hates roller coasters and this is pretty much the only one she will go on as she can sing all the way round...! That way she hasn't got time to think about twists/turns/loops etc..

I'm interested to see what it looks like and if it still "feels" the same...

Yes, it’s my son’s favourite ride.
It was the first and last ride we did a week or so ago and got lots of pics of him outside it etc (he’s autistic).
He was happy he got to ride one last trip before it goes though.

For me it’s mixed, it is a classic attraction, but I am excited for the change (even though I am not a Marvel fan). That area of the park is quite poor and needs improving.

The rollercoaster track will be staying the same which is good for fans of the current ride. Hopefully the new theme will be done well.

We will find out in Summer 2021!

Devastated at it but then I don't like marvel, I'm just concerned with most of the avengers dead will it lead to marvel "dying". Daughter is the same as me and my hubby who is a big marvel fan is not keen on the change.
I first did the ride in August 2004, took my eldest when she was 18mths. She rode it for the last time aug 27th 2019 (I can no longer do fast rides due to vertigo ☹️).

Nooo, I don't want it to change. No more cheesy video with the invite to ride the limo out in the alley 😕

We've not done either DLP or WDW Aerosmith ride as we haven't built up enough courage to do them yet. Maybe as it will be Marvel-themed I may be more inclined to try it during a future trip.

Out of interest what do you consider ‘Disney’? I would have said Aerosmith weren’t particularly Disney to start with so this closure won’t impact how ‘Disney’ the park feels.

There are and still will be attractions and shows related to Aladdin, Finding Nemo, Cars, Ratatouille, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse, Stitch with Frozen also set to come.
