We flew Air Canada from Manchester to Toronto and then Rouge from Toronto down to New York. I'm sure there was no IFE on the Rouge flight, but I honestly can't remember whether there was any on the other flight (I never use it, stick my earphones in, get a good book or a puzzle book and I'm sorted!). I'd happily use them again if the price was right.

I had no idea about this they didn't warn me when I booked. Seems bonkers.

It's cheaper than the USA version - about £4.50 I think - and lasts 5 years whereas the USA version only lasts 2 years.

If nothing else, it gives you an excuse to make a trip to Canada in the future - we really enjoyed our trips there.

Just said exactly the same to Mrs YT! Cheers. Glad I saw this thread albeit I'm not going until summer.

Hi flew air Canada twice via Toronto and had no problems. In fact we made the choice to stop for a couple of days to do Niagara Falls , Niagara on the lake , the zoo and some time in the city. Well worth it and at no extra cost for delayed onward journey.

I flew Air Canada indirect to Seattle a couple of years ago.
Planes were really comfy - moreso than BA flights I have been on recently, seemed fairly new or at least recently refurbished. Food was good and we got ice creams.
I wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again.

Glad I booked it now, and it was cheap, for school holidays, into LA and out of Orlando 3 weeks later, think it was about £750.

This is what I want to do YT into Canada tho for a few days and then out of orlando. Prices are good but when you put a longer layover they go through the roof!Did you book Direct? Was going to give them a call but the UK phone number looks strange but it does say toll free! Did you ring or book online?
