BA August 2020?

I booked for August 2020 on Friday in the BA sale, £1600ish for 2 of us. Checked the same holiday today and it's coming in at over £6k! Wonder if they've put really high prices in now to allow them to fully assess what Thomas Cook's demise will have on their bookings?

We’re flying on 14/8/20, 2 adults kids 14 & 12, Gatwick to Tampa, Miami go Heathrow home on 31/08/19, 12 days car hire in a Tahoe or similar. We booked 2 weeks ago, cost £2900, checked it today, same holiday is £4934 😳😳
