Cali Grill Brunch is a 12:40 reservation time too late?

Hi

I have left it late to make my ADR's and can only get a brunch reservation for 12:40. Has anyone had a reservation this late? I am just a bit worried as I thought 1pm was the finishing time? Will we be rushed? Its just a lot of money to spend if we are (not on dining plan this time). Anyone with any experience of a late brunch ADR at Cali Grill would be very helpful. Thank you.

You definitely won't be rushed so don't worry about that. Our reservation was at 12pm and we stayed until 1.45pm and there were still loads of people there, no one was bring rushed at all

We had a 12..30 reservation last October and it was one of
The best meals of our holiday we were not rushed at all.
Hoping to go back on my own this year with out dinning

I am also sure you won’t be rushed. The time wouldn’t work for me for brunch. But if you don’t mind and were purely worried they might be packing up around you then I would go for it.

Thank you for your reassuring replies. I think we will go for it. We have been twice before and absolutely loved it (even more than dinner at Cali Grill) but managed to secure 10am bookings then- once we were there for 3 hours!

Can anyone remember roughly how much this was? And what the selection was (we’re both veggie)? Struggling to find info online. Thanks.

It’s $80 per person but includes unlimited mimosas, unlimited trips to the buffet selection and you can order multiple entrees if you wish.
Sorry can’t help on the veggie bit, a lot of the stuff we ate was meat products.
The full menu is on the Disney website and on the menus on the dibb though

easywdw/easy/blog/re...porary-resort/ This is one of the best reviews I've read of brunch and lots of photos!

They definitely don't rush you - I've been there so long before (think I left at 2+pm) that they had started to slowly set up tables for dinner. But they're happy for you to stay around, though they will slowly start packing up the appetiser buffet after a certain time.

Given that the tables never seem to be full when I've been there for brunch, I suspect that you could turn up early and they would still seat you...

I’ve only been once, but it was definitely a full house.

Interesting, it's always been quite empty when I've been - earlier this month I actually got an entire section of the restaurant almost all to myself during brunch with a reservation time of around 12.30pm! The area to the right of entry looked fairly full, but the area to the left (where I was) was really rather empty. As the reservations are always a little (not very) elusive, I was wondering if they intentionally didn't fill it up...
