It's good to hear that other single parents go regularly too! Looking at the cost of other holidays, WDW seems reasonably competitive for everything you get especially with free DDP. I know the main comment I'll get about going is how much it is but I only spend serious money on holidays!

Hi I am looking at taking my 2 in Oct 2018, they will be 5 and 6. Already planning and researching everything on this site I have told their dad and my mum, who both already said I'm wasting money and their to young But I work bloody hard for my money so it's mine to do and I think they will have a great time.

Im nervous that it's 3 of us and the rides seating :/

Actually travelling solo to Disney with your child is brilliant because you get to set the pace and don't have to accomadate the wishes of other adults.

You'll be fine. Just plan carefully how you'll get around (onsite is a doddle) and enjoy. Plenty of single parent families go (and some fake ones where one parent is there for a conference and the other parent and the kids are along to share their paid for hotel room for a spot of magic.
