Have they been renovated for the better?! There was some construction work going on around the resort, and I think there still is

It's those little Disney touches that I love - not necessarily blatantly Disney, but you just know you're at a Disney Resort x

I love a couple of 'nothing' days at the start of a holiday, especially when you've got time on your side; definitely not a waste, just an opportunity to switch off from real life and get into holiday mode. I feel like I know Vero Beach well after all those photos.

Yes definitely much more modern and fresh.

The TV is a flat screen now too.

What a great report on the resort, so much info! Sometimes we all need a day to relax on holiday, but beat ourselves up that we aren't doing enough.

Time was definitely on our side this visit - but even then we still didn't get around to everything! Now that we are DVC members, it feels like we can pop over a lot more easily (just wish the flights weren't so expensive!)

That's great to hear you felt that from my pics - it's always my hope with my reports that I can "transport" you there

It's so strange the way we live these days - feeling the need to cram in absolutely everything! I think modern society has forgotten how to switch off (me included!)
