Unable to amend Alamo Brits booking.
I have been able to amend my Alamo Brits booking at any point over the past few months and now I actually need to amend my booking it gives the following message:
"We are sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately this reservation cannot be amended. If you wish to make an amendment please place a new reservation and cancel the original online." Does anyone know if this is temporary, I know I can just cancel and rebook but the old site was giving a better price. Any help is appreciated. |

Be careful I think if you cancel you also pay a fee - I think someone mentioned this in another different thread a few days ago.

I'm pretty sure that since the website changed you cannot ammend anymore. I am getting a price of £30 cheaper on the new site for my August hire and if I click amend it wants £210 more instead!
I intend to cancel and rebook. OP. Maybe worth a phone call?

It seems that if you booked before the website change then the only way to amend is to make a new booking and cancel the old one. Once you have booked on the new website you should be able to amend. At least that worked for me last week.

I'd book the new one before cancelling the old in case you get caught out with a price change before you press the buy button

That's what I intend to do, good advice.
However this 1 yr old Grandson has worn me out so much this week I haven't got the energy to do it yet!
